In-Person Learning

Practical education. Stronger foundations. Genuine professional development.

Whether you are preparing to enter the permanent makeup industry, working towards a regulated qualification or trying to strengthen skills that never quite fell into place during your original training, my in-person education is designed to meet you where you are now.

Training is practical, focused and grounded in real clinical and industry experience. You will be encouraged to understand not only how to perform a technique, but why it works, how to recognise when something is going wrong and how to make informed decisions independently.

For You

Find The Right Training

There is no single course that suits every artist.

Some students need comprehensive beginner education. Others already hold a qualification but need to meet current Level 4 requirements. You may simply need focused help with one treatment area, practical experience with Botched Ink or individual support to rebuild your confidence.

Explore the different routes below or arrange a discovery call if you would like help choosing the most appropriate option.

Focused Skill Workshops

Strengthen the skills that make the greatest difference to your work.

These focused one-day workshops are designed for trained permanent makeup artists who want to improve their practical skills, address gaps in previous training or return to the industry after a break.

Choose from:

  • Brow Focus

  • Lip Focus

  • Lash Enhancement and Eyeliner Focus

Botched Ink Practical Training

Develop the practical skills to provide professional saline tattoo removal.

Botched Ink practical training allows eligible technicians to develop hands-on experience in saline removal under close supervision.

The training focuses on translating your existing knowledge into safe, considered practical treatment. You will learn how to assess the client and their permanent makeup, plan an appropriate removal approach and perform the procedure with greater confidence.

Level 4 Ofqual PMU Courses

Develop the practical skills to provide professional saline tattoo removal.

Botched Ink practical training allows eligible technicians to develop hands-on experience in saline removal under close supervision.

The training focuses on translating your existing knowledge into safe, considered practical treatment. You will learn how to assess the client and their permanent makeup, plan an appropriate removal approach and perform the procedure with greater confidence.

1-1 Practical Skill Mentoring

Personalised practical support built around you and your work.

One-to-one mentoring provides dedicated time to focus on the areas that are holding you back.

Rather than following a fixed group-course format, your mentoring programme begins with an honest assessment of your current skills, confidence, knowledge and goals. We then create a focused plan to help you make measurable progress.

PMU Reset Bootcamp

Revisit the foundations. Identify the gaps. Move forward with purpose.

Created with Jenny Wing, the PMU Reset Bootcamp is for artists who have recently completed their training—or who are still within the first few years of practice—and have realised they do not feel as prepared as they expected.

It brings together the essential knowledge, practical understanding and professional habits that should form the foundation of a sustainable PMU career.

Accredited CPD Beginner Training

Comprehensive skills-based training for students beginning their PMU journey.

CPD beginner training provides a practical introduction to permanent makeup for students who prefer a continuing professional development route rather than an Ofqual-regulated qualification programme.

Courses may be available for:

  • Permanent makeup brows

  • Permanent makeup lips

  • Lash enhancement and eyeliner

  • Combined treatment pathways

Not Sure Which Route You Need?

Choosing training should begin with your needs—not with the latest technique.

The right route will depend on:

  • Whether you are completely new to permanent makeup

  • The qualifications you already hold

  • Your practical experience

  • Your local licensing and insurance requirements

  • The areas in which you lack confidence

  • Whether you need a qualification, practical development or both

  • The type of treatments you ultimately want to offer

If you are unsure, book a discovery call before committing to a programme. I will help you identify the most appropriate route and tell you honestly if another option would suit you better.

Why Train With Me?

Education shaped by clinical experience, assessment and real-world practice.

I have worked in beauty and aesthetics for approximately 30 years, taught in further education and private training since 2001, and worked as an assessor and Internal Quality Assurer since 2007.

Alongside my work as a permanent makeup artist and advanced skin clinician, I support students, training providers and qualification centres with assessment, quality assurance and professional development.

My approach is calm, methodical and honest. I believe artists need strong foundations before adding advanced techniques—and that meaningful progress comes from understanding, practice, reflection and constructive feedback.

When you train with me, you can expect:

  • Small-group or individual learning

  • Evidence-informed education

  • A strong focus on skin and safe practice

  • Clear, honest feedback

  • Practical skills that connect with underlying theory

  • Support with decision-making and troubleshooting

  • An emphasis on healed results, not just fresh photographs

  • Continued development beyond the classroom

I have intentionally described the qualifications as “Ofqual-regulated”, rather than “Ofqual accredited”. That is the more accurate terminology and strengthens the professional credibility of the page.
